Hail to the Mop!

Hail to the H2o mop..

Say goodbye to back pain from bending over when mopping, and scrubbing your floor.

Never miss a corner again

No more buckets of nasty floor water

Say goodbye to that layer of film on your floor left from soapy scum

And say hello to the best invention ever made. ( in my opinion)
I borrowed my moms H2o mop the other day, and it worked so good I almost cried when I had to hand it back.
Im buying one as soon as I get to the store.
I have a ridiculous amount of tile in my house, and for anyone else that can relate. This mop is worth your dollar.
It took me less than ten minutes to mop all the tile in my house, and it had my floors sparkling!
Love it!

And no im not a salesman for the H2o mop.. thank you very much!

Dreams vs. Nightmares

Oh before I forget....

Sophia told me about a dream she had yesterday. She calls this is a dream, but clearly after telling the story, it's a nightmare.

It started with a man who was hitting her face.
Sophia: "but mommy he didn't kill me, he was flattening it with a hammer"
Then this man (an unknown man, cause i did ask her) cut her face into pieces.
starting with her eyeballs, then her nose, her mouth, her hair.
according to her, he wasn't interested in taking her limbs.
And then... he took all her parts and held them for 10 days.
He then sold her pieces to the people in Haiti.

So I sit there with my jaw to the ground, and then Jackson Chimes in.

Jackson: Mommy i had a dream too.
me: Oh yeah, what was your dream about.
(He follows Sophie's lead.)
Jackson: Someone cut my face all apart.
me: Oh my goodness. who would do that to my little doll face.
Jackson: Daddy.

The end.

Coffee House

Had a visit/play date with my best friend Luann today. We had some wedding buisness to take care of and As usual it was entertaining and eventful.

It started with Lu dashing through the front door.
Hands completely full, with baby Dylan, a baby bag, 2 baby blankets, a bag full of bottled water and snacks (she forgets I have kids too, and she doesn't need to pack up her house), and her laptop.
Following behind, was Jonas. Good ole' Jonas, who usually plays shy just to fool you :)

Anyways, she comes darting in the house talking a million miles a minute (this is totally expected. She is my crazy Lu).
She's got 20 things she needs right now:
-a tweezer
-a cup of coffee (Dylan's not sleeping all night. But that's okay because his mild sweet temperament makes up for the sleepless nights)
-she has to give me the Mother of the bride book for my mom.

And then...... the therapy session kicks in. I stop and say:
Lu.
Take a break.
Put your stuff down.
Lets do one thing at a time.
Get Dylan situated.
Unpack your stuff.
Then go tweeze your face, and I'll make a cup of coffee.
One thing at a time......

Then our visit kicks into full gear.
Our kids are running wild, doing circles around us.
Jackson and Jonas are crying and interrupting us every two seconds. (Usually someone stole a car from the other.)
Sophia's showing us every dance move she knows, and wanting to hang with us girls. (this is what were doing now at age 5. Acting like an adult)

Even with all the usual chaos we experience during every visit we have together anymore, We do manage to get in some good chit chat, and we found some great wedding ideas. Which was the purpose of this play date.
I genuinely enjoy sitting back after a visit with a good friend, and thinking of how much our lives have changed. How much we've grown up. Sometimes it sucks we don't get to see eachother as often as we'd like.
But whenever we get together its like we pick up right where we left off.

Ring Ring

I went to make a phone call tonight at approximately 10:08PM, and I had to stop and think about whether or not it was too late to call my girlfriends house.

Does that mean we're getting old?

Bio. and not chemistry

First there's Jack.
He's a real stand up guy!

My fiance.
A great father.
He has a nice long arm for reaching things on the top shelf, and he's pretty good at mixing all the white laundry with the colored laundry when washing.
He's getting married soon.
To me.
He finally did it.. five long years later.
The big day will be in April 2011. But that's a different adventure in which i will share later.
Back to Jack....Jack is back.......
He's honest and loyal and has a shit load of friends.
(for instance, we have a 19 people bridal party, thanks to Jack)
He has six brothers and is the cutest of them all :)
He's got nice tattoos, and nice arms to hold onto.
He buys great gifts and that's mostly why I stick around.....

Then there's Miss. Sophia
Sophia is Sophia!
She's very sensitive.
For instance. On the way home from school today she started crying because she saw a stray dog, and "felt bad for him".
She definitely brightens up a room with her spunk and fun energy!
Sheeeee's a talker
Sophia talks from the minute those big hazel eyes open in the morning to the minute she closes them. Actually, she talks even when there closed.
She's naturally funny. Constant laughter when she's around.
Sophia pretty much knows she's gonna be famous one day, and I'm putting money. on it!
Drama should have been her name.
People just like the kid!
She's starring as the flower girl in here teachers wedding.. .. (total suck up)
Theres no better soup for the soul other than my Sophie!

Then there's Jackson.
He's ma boy!
Jacksons my 3 yr old man, with a lot of personality.
He often makes faces that look identical to his dad. Actually. He is a minnie Jack.
Jackson can be a love bug, but he often thinks he's some kind of gangster tough guy!
If I must say so myself, the kids got style.
He's totally rockin this surfer look.
It looks great on him with his wavy light brown hair.
Oh. And he uses surfer lingo too, with words like bro and dude!
Jacksons very opinionated.
which goes hand and hand with stubborn.

For example:
He will not wear his windbreaker pants, cause "they're fat pants"
Only HE can line up all 127 of his cars.
He insists on dressing up every Saturday morning, in 2 pairs of swimsuits, and usually 3 T-shirts.

There's nothing better than a kiss with Jacksons puckering lips and a tight squeeze from my Sophia! Life doesn't get any better than this!

Oh........ almost forgot about Marley.
Whom Jacksnon calls Maweee Mimooshka (which if i hear him say that one more time I might just poke one of my eyeballs out.)
Marley is our puppy.
She's a a little more than I bargained for at times.
But I'm adjusting. It's getting a little easier as time goes on.
She has definitely added to the list of my daily customs!
But she's a cute addition to the family, which makes up for her stinky breath!

Well that's my family for you!
Never a dull moment in my home.
Always full of laughter, and sometimes puppy poop!

Big Break!

I am looking for a place where I can take a break.
A place where I can jot down a thought, a memory and possibly even explore the creative side within me.
Hopefully i've found that place here,
and if im lucky maybe someone will want to follow along!

P.S. please bare with me, this is a work in progress!
